The Charlottesville Area Quilters Guild holds two annual meetings. SpringFest is held the first Saturday in May and FallFest is the first Saturday in November. Both meetings are open to the public, and we encourage anyone interested in quilting to come.
We generally have a speaker or some workshops, eat lunch together, and share our recently completed quilts and works in progress. It's a great way to see what's going on in quilting in Charlottesville area, as well as a way for members to keep in touch with people who attend other chapter meetings.
We often have door prizes and a drawing for blocks made according to a theme chosen in advance. You get one chance to win all the blocks for each block you submit. Check with a chapter representative to learn what the block design is for our next meeting!
Our next guild meeting will be on May 5, 2012 at Aldersgate Methodist Church on E. Rio Road in Charlottesville. In the meantime, come to our chapter meetings and join in the fun of quilting in Charlottesville.
